Scandinavian Business Seating, the owner of the RH brand, has now been certified according to the GREENGUARD certification program for RH’s main collection. The GREENGUARD Certification is the largest industry-independent certification program for low-emitting products and this certification therefore provide further credence to the high quality products and our sustainability work of RH.
“We are happy to announce that RH’s main collections; RH Ambio, RH Extend, RH Logic 300/400 and RH Support has been tested and certified according to the GREENGUARD certification program”, says V.P. Commercial Brand & Product Management RH Anette Lundin. “This is a certification that will, once again, give credence to our high quality products and our sustainability work.”
The GREENGUARD Certification Program which is the largest industry-independent certification program gives assurance that products designed for use in the office environments and other indoor spaces meet strict chemical emissions limits, which contribute to a healthier interior environment.
RH designs and produces office chairs for the Nordic and international markets. Anette Lundin points out that the professional buyers’ increasing environmental consciousness has been an important influencing driving force. The GREENGUARD Certification label helps architects, builders, designers and specifies identify products and materials that undergo rigorous testing and meet stringent standards for chemical emissions. Currently more than 225 manufacturers voluntarily participate in the program and more than 200 000 products are represented in the GREENGUARD Certification Program and can be found in the free online product guide at www.greenguard.org.
