RH Chairs was established by Rolf Holstensson in 1977 in Bodafors, in the Småland region of Sweden. Today we are established in Norway, Denmark, Finland, United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands, in addition to Sweden. In the 2007 fiscal year we had a turnover of EUR 38,7 million. That makes us one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of ergonomic seating. As of 2006, RH Chairs is owned by the listed private equity company Ratos. RH Chairs’ Managing Director is Peter Eklund.

Scandinavian Business Seating is an international company in the office chairs segment and owns the brands HÅG, RH and RBM. The company is originated in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Its head office is in Oslo. The company has more than 600 employees and achieved a turnover of around NOK 1,300 million in 2007 and solid profitability
 

Ownership

The company was founded in June 2007 and changed its name to Scandinavian Business Seating in the autumn of 2008 following an integration and consolidation process in 2007 between the companies HÅG, RH Form and RBM. Scandinavian Business Seating is owned by the Swedish private equity company Ratos, which is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
